Fast. This product needs no mixing or measuring. All you need to do is dust your plants with it!
Proven. Sevin Dust has been around for a long time, successfully killing dozens of garden bugs.
Safe. When used as the label recommends, Sevin 5% Dust is safe for people and pets.
Tips for Using Sevin Dust Safely
- Always read the label first!
- Avoid inhalation of dust and contact with skin. Wear protective gloves when handling it.
- Choose a calm day to apply Sevin Dust so you don’t get dust on yourself or waste it to the wind.
- Keep people and pets away from the area you are treating. Give enough time for the dust to settle before you or others spend time in the treated area.
- Start in the far corner and work backwards so you keep moving away from the plants already treated.
- Don’t dust parts of a plant that you will eat less than 7 days before harvesting them. Wash fruits and vegetables well before eating them.
- Treat your plants when the first sign of insect damage appears.
- Dust the parts of the plant that are infested. If bugs are eating the stems, treat the stems. If the insect is damaging the leaves, apply the dust to the leaves.
- Apply in dry weather. If it rains too soon after application, the rain will wash the dust off and you will not get your money’s worth out of the product.
- If you need to water your yard or garden, do it before applying the powder.

Fertilome MoleGo Granules
MoleGo Granules repel moles, gophers, voles, armadillos, skunks, ground hogs, ground squirrels, and other burrowing animals from your backyard. These granules work well on lawns, golf courses, athletic fields, and ornamental turf.
MoleGo Granules contain 10% castor oil. The castor oil does not poison the rodents; it repels them from the area because the animals do not like the castor oil. These biodegradable pellets do not harm plants.
Apply MoleGo immediately after discovering the presence of a tunnel-digging animal. Reapply if you discover new mounds or tunnels. Or, you can apply the granules in early spring, mid-summer, and early fall for year-round protection.
Use one pound per 500 square feet. Water the granules into the ground to release the castor oil and help it penetrate the soil. If you are not in a hurry, you can wait for the next rainfall to water the pellets into the soil for you.
If you live in an area where snow covers the ground in winter, you may only discover the mole damage after the snow melts in the spring. To prevent mole parties all winter long, apply the granules in late fall. Wait till after mowing season is over. Spread the granules evenly over the lawn in areas that are prone to rodent damage.
Burrowing animals not only make havoc in your lawn, they also eat flower bulbs and chew on tree bark. Keep your property beautiful with MoleGo Granules!

DeWitt 6-Year Weed Barrier
The DeWitt landscape fabric is treated to save it from degenerating under UV light exposure. The non-woven design prevents unraveling when you cut the fabric to fit your project.
DeWitt Weed-Barrier is rated a cut above its competitor’s upper entry-level products. This 6- year fabric provides ideal short-term weed control for your annual plants. It weighs 1.5-ounces per square yard of fabric.
Oak Lane offers DeWitt Weed-Barrier in retail and bulk rolls so that you can choose the size according to the surface area of your project.
Top Uses of Landscape Fabric
- Most of us will not complain about spending less time weeding our gardens and flower beds. Although landscape fabric does not usually eliminate 100% of the weeds, it maintains much tidier gardens and flower beds with less work from you.
- Landscape fabric saves on mulch by providing a physical barrier that slows the decomposition of the mulch into the soil.
- A quality landscape fabric not only allows water to pass through it, but it also slows the process of evaporation, retaining the moisture underneath the fabric. Plants thrive with this moisture retention.
- Need a way to keep the weeds from growing under your deck? Put down landscape fabric, add some weight on top of it, and staple it down.
- Landscape fabric serves as a stabilizing layer beneath crushed rock or paver paths. It keeps the pavers or crushed rocks from sinking into the subsoil or being affected by frost heave.
- Are you thinking of installing a paver driveway? Although landscapers do their best to prepare the ground, landscape fabric evens out any stresses that might come from the chance that the ground would settle.
- Landscape fabric serves as a protective layer underneath water features such as ponds. When placed beneath a liner, it helps prevent punctures that could come from roots and sharp edges. It also allows gases to dissipate.
- When you need to let water through but keep the soil out, landscape fabric becomes a handy filter. It can be used in trench drains, around a perforated pipe, and behind retaining walls.
Landscape fabric keeps your landscape beautiful with its many uses. When buying landscape fabric, take a look at the product label to make sure you choose the right fabric for the job.
